Womanation: Where Women Thrive

It all started with a small idea when I was at a conference for women. There I was sitting in the audience listening to the speaker talk about knowing your “why.” Now knowing your “why” is knowing your purpose. The reason why you are on this planet. The reason you are doing (or want to do) the job you do. The reason why you get up every day. Knowing your why gives your purpose a direction.

As I escaped into my thoughts I realized that I was already living my why, but that I had not yet defined it. I was already in a career of helping women. I was educating, directing, leading and inspiring them to think outside of the box. To be creative. To be authentic. To be successful.

I tend to explore my thoughts on paper. I’m a list maker. I make pages and pages of bullet points, draw diagrams that help me visually see what I am thinking. Then in a quiet moment when all was still, Womanation was born. I stared down at that page and knew I had found a way to articulate my why and to reach more women who were looking for inspiration for their own lives. I needed to share my message on a grander scale.

Throughout my life I’ve seen women struggle through Motherhood, Marriage, Career and so many more aspects of their lives. It was like they were existing in a fog with the willingness to excel only lacking direction. I found that many of them had the same problems. They would get in their own way, they would try to be perfect, they would set unrealistic expectations on themselves and others, they didn’t nourish themselves and they had no compass to direct their lives.

It was then that I realized that I could identify these issues and give sound advice I had learned through many years of coaching, masterminding, working and communicating with other women. Then I thought, if I could inspire just one person in this life to make a change for the better…to thrive…I have fulfilled my purpose. Little did I know that things didn’t stop there. If I could help one, I could help many.

The idea of Womanation has always been inside of me. Mulling around in my heart and in my head. Here it is today…for the world to see…so you can thrive too!
